Sorry for the delay guys. If I haven’t mentioned here already, I just got a new job with Aflac and that’s been eating up a lot of my time… and money unfortunately since I had to spend money to get licensed and the job makes me drive around a lot. I think I drove like 400 miles on friday for a class where I ‘won’ $20. And then I got a speeding ticket on the way home that’ll probably cost me around $150, so that sucked. They’re promising a lot of future money though, so maybe it’ll get better.
Anyway I have a new job, we’ll see how it works out financially, but I can already tell this isn’t what I’m going to want to spend years doing, regardless of how well it might pay. It’s effectively door to door sales, which I don’t like at all.
Anyway on more site related news I’m redoing the way I do the donation wallpapers. Before, I’d do wallpaper requests for people that sent more than $10, but I was finding that most people didn’t request anything and if they sent a large donation it meant I suddenly had to come up with several ideas for wallpapers all at once. So I decided to switch to the way most webcomics do it.
I’ll do a new wallpaper every month and anyone that donates at least $1 within that month will get it. You can send more if you want, but the thank you will be the same. I’m finishing up the one for march now, and will be sending it out tonight to anyone who’s already donated this month. At the end of the month I’ll post the art from it in my deviant art gallery. So if you don’t have a dollar, you can still see what the picture was come April, it just won’t be a wallpaper.
